Syed Javed Hussain
Dr Syed Javed Hussain is a noted columnist and analyst who has been writing since 1984. He hails from Islamabad, Pakistan, where he taught at various colleges and simultaneously worked either for The Muslim or The News International newspapers and for sometime wrote columns for Pakistan Observer, Islamabad. Along with teaching journalism has remained his absolute passion through out his life. Currently he is teaching at a University in North Africa and writing for Pakistan Observer in Pakistan along with Suite101.
Dr Syed has founded an International Islamic Relations Organisation, Ambassadors of Islam, whose activities are expanding throughout the world.
'Ambassadors of Islam' is a non-profit organisation and specializes in the areas of media applied to enlightened vision of Islam, international politics, conflict resolution, dialogue of civilizations, foreign policy, anti-terrorism and defence of human rights.
